Garfield's Beach Bar at Grand Anse

O.k, i may be a little late with the news, but for those of you who don't know, there is a new bar on the beach.

Its on the corner of the Grand Beach property, near the public access road to the beach and is open daily. Talk about a good spot! This is one of the best places on the beach for a bar, and Garfield has certainly made the most of it.

Its not large, nor is there much in the way of music, but what you get is a nice shady spot to relax and have a cold Carib, or a rum punch.

We actually heard it was open from some friends (just goes to show how often we are on the Grand Anse beach, to have missed it).

As we were passing that way on Sunday, we made sure to take a few photos. Just steps away from the water's edge, you can't miss it as you stroll along the beach. Would we recommend it? Of course!

There is nothing worse than having a hard days loafing around on the beach, ruined because you forgot to bring a cooler with drinks.

Glad someone thought to remedy that small problem ;-)

Neil, I'm way ahead of you. I like that they post all the drink prices on the wall. Decent place to sit in some shade in the afternoon.

Great spot

Garfields bar really hits the spot. Perfect location, although more important is the friendly welcome every afternoon as you head home afer an exhausting day lazing on a beautiful piece of the beach. Hassle free, good prices, keep it up Garfield!

I visited the bar/dissapointed!

Hi my name is Chloe,I visited the above bar mentoioned.I am part Grenadian,part Bermudian.I found the sevice a bit dissapointing,the waitress/waiter was not friendly,maybe because I was a black tourist.their pinacoloda cost $19:00,I was bitten by mosquitoes and two of the caucasion tourist were constantly looking at me and it was not in a pleasant manner.
