Sunday Boat ride Photos

Posted by Neil in Photos

This Sunday dawned sunny and hot! Perfect day for the beach...In other words, just laze around and do as little as possible.
Grenada Morne Rouge View

We decided to take advantage of it and putter along the coast in the boat and just soak up some sun. Took the camera with us (just in case) and got a couple of good shots of places along the coast, which we thought we would share with everyone.

A busy weekend in Grenada

Posted by Neil in This and That , Photos , Hashing

What we did over the weekend....

This weekend, we were quite active, and we made sure to take lots of photos to share with everyone.

Saturday we went to a hash in Victoria, at Tufton Hall estate. Fantastic hike through the old plantation and up into the hills surrounding. Some of the views along the valleys are breathtaking, and there was the added bonus of a pool at the river to cool off in.

Soubise and Marquis Beaches

marquis beach

Quiet beach on the northeast coast, with a refreshing breeze from the Atlantic Ocean.
Just 10 minutes drive south of the town of Grenville, Marquis is a black sand beach with local houses almost to the waters edge.

Evening Walk at Grand Anse Beach

Posted by Neil in Photos

Grand Anse Beach

Just came back from one of our regular strolls along the beach...just a typical day here, nothing special. Beach was fairly empty.
Thought we would just give you a small look at what our evening was like. The seas have settled down again and there was hardly a cloud in the sky, which made the sunset quite nice.
