Breakfast @ Le Papillion Cafe at the Siesta Hotel

We heard that a new cafe had opened up at the Siesta Hotel, and have wanted to check it out for the longest while. As our regular saturday breakfast hangout at Nick's Donut shop at the Marquis Complex closed down after 18 years, we figured it was a good a time as any to see what it was like, and have since been back to try other items on the menu. I'm talking about the Le Papillion Cafe at the Siesta Hotel in Grand Anse, which is run by Kathy Ann.

Real West Indian Breakfast in Mt. Moritz

Well, this last Sunday we finally made our way up Mt. Moritz, to the community center, with a couple of friends to sample the breakfast we had heard so much about.

When we got there, the parking was not a problem, as the entire playing field by the community center was available. Everything was nicely laid out and organized, and of course the first dilemma presented itself - there is such a wide variety of food to choose from, that you can easily get sidetracked.

Island Windjammers Cruise - We did it again!!

On our last Blog about the cruise in the Grenadines on the Diamant, in July 2010, we said that if we ever got the chance to do the trip again, we would in a heartbeat!!
Well, we did it again!!
Its a little hard to describe, to someone who may have not sailed before, how great this cruise is. First of all, the boat only takes 12 passengers, so there is never any feeling that you are crowded. On this cruise there were 11 people, including us.

Mangrove Hide-Away Restaurant & Sports Bar

A couple of months ago we came across this place and liked it immediately.
What attracted us most was the atmosphere, as it is in a nice hidden location next to the waters edge in Westerhall and has the charm of outdoor dining without trying to be overtly modern.
